For some years now, I have dedicated time to conducting research of planetary movements of the last century and a half. I have sought to establish shifts in geo political power, periods of turmoil and instability as well as economic re-births. I have looked at the industrial revolution in the last century from 1920 to 1970, in addition to the new era of technology. This technological leap is going full steam ahead and seems like it will not stop anytime soon. I have spent a lot of time scrutinizing these as well as many other subjects.
It seems like we are moving ahead in many aspects in the new century. However, that is not the case when it comes to religion. The issue of religion is a dominant force in today’s world but no one dare’s to touch it. There is no corresponding change or flexibility and adjustment as the world grows and moves ahead. Indeed, modernization has resulted in fear and insecurity in the minds of orthodox and extremist religious leaders, and they are using the door of politics to perpetuate it. There is a growing sense of threat from competition or diversification of ideas held by the young generation. There is even the fear of isolation and loss of relevance in the fast changing world. To counter this, spreading fear has become a key weapon for uniting communities that profess the same religion. The question is: is this the best way to go? This is an important issue that I see dominating this new century till common acceptance becomes a reality in the minds of ordinary people.
Whether we choose to acknowledge it or not, the truth is that the world is living in fear. The West is terrified of extremist thoughts of a few leaders while similarly, some few Islamic leaders view the West with grave suspicion (I said few- meaning that the majority of people are busy with their lives and are walking and working together without fear). Time to time world is therefore living in fear ONLY because of these FEW. This fear has gradually crept in over time and it is now dangerously dividing the world. For the sake of future generations, this should be a key agenda for world leaders so as to bring the world together and everyone that lives on this planet - we owe them hope and lives free from fear. POLITICIANS AND LEADERS OF OTHER GROUPS SHOULD NEVER STEER INNOCENT PEOPLE TOWARDS WAR AND BLOOD AS THEY HAVE BEEN CHOSEN FOR PROSPERITY AND PEACE.
I am Hindu but I have great respect for the LORD Jesus and Mohammad. I have visited many churches and mosques, for it is always great to discover and learn hidden treasures or messages. The cartoon issue is taking up a big shape. Due to the respect with which we regard them, no one will ever tolerate an insult against their parents. The awe and reverence accorded to matters of faith also means that people will not take it kindly when their faith or God is perceived to have been insulted. Talk or portraits that can be interpreted as insulting from people of different religions are likely to evoke strong reactions. Sensitive issues should therefore be carefully handled with tact, intelligence and co-operation as we can make mistakes. We should however try to rectify the mistakes for future harmony as this kind of issues can only bring strife to the world and widen the gap between different religions. It is quite unfortunate for people living on the same beautiful planet to regard each other differently just because they profess different religions.
There is reason to discuss this point in my weekly financial newsletter because compared to other businesses, markets are most sensitive and very difficult to trade without keeping some important issues in mind.
The West and the Islamic nations both know that the Islamic countries play a vital role in supplying oil to the world, a key wheel in running the world economy. Saturn gave me indications in 2001 and was the reason for advising everyone to buy oil in late 2001. The oil factor can cause imbalance of world wealth and the money market. Steps towards modernization and industrialization as well as the service industry could suffer a huge setback, while the value of major currencies may also sustain a major blow IF OIL PRICES KEEP GOING UP. However, ONE MUST REMEMBER THAT TIME ALWAYS PASSES AND NEW THINGS CONSTANTLY TAKE PLACE. TECHNOLOGY MIGHT EVEN HELP US TO HARNESS ENERGY FROM THE SUN. BUT BEFORE THIS ENERGY REVOLUTION
If you read my 2002 and 2003 books, I clearly stated that Islamic nations would rise till 2006. I said that this would be a result of escalating oil prices and that Islamic countries situated next to large water bodies would especially flourish- AND INDEED WE ARE SEEING THIS. Oil is playing a key role and gold is getting ready as well in case a disaster occurs in the currency market. We shall keep this discussion alive but let us first see what this week holds for the world financial market.
On Monday the
THE WORLD IS FACED BY A SERIOUS THREAT; A THREAT TOWARDS WHICH WE UNFORTUNATELY SEEM OBLIVIOUS ABOUT. I AM TALKING ABOUT THE THREAT OF BIRD FLU, WHICH COULD WELL BE ONE OF THE MOST DEADLY TO FACE HUMAN KIND FOR THE LAST THOUSANDS OF YEARS.
THE SERIOUSNESS OF THIS THREAT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE SUFFICIENTLY APPRECIATED, SINCE AT THE MOMENT EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE UNDER CONTROL. HOWEVER, I WISH TO WARN THAT THIS COULD SOON EXPLODE INTO A SITUATION NOT ENVISAGED BY ANYONE AND THAT IMMEDIATE STEPS NEED TO BE TAKEN. I THEREFORE APPEAL TO SCIENTISTS AND MEDICAL RESEARCH GROUPS TO FAST TRACK EFFORTS TO FIND A SOLUTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BEFORE IT GETS TOO LATE.
FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS, I SEE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE’S LIVES BEING IN DANGER. MY MEMBERS SHOULD THEREFORE SEND THIS NOTE TO ALERT THOSE IN POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY TO TAKE THE ISSUE MORE SERIOUSLY.
